Visual Enhancement

I was just curious if there was going to be a visual tweak on how Logos looks as a program. Forgive me I am not technical with language. It is not a HUGE deal but it would be nice I guess to have some distinction from L6. Maybe I missed the discussion Embarrassed

Thanks for the link! So obviously they weren't able to implement a visual refresh at 7.3 like it was guessed. Hopefully next one! Like I stated before no big deal, but it would be nice. The inside is what really counts. [:)]

We've discussed doing a visual refresh, but so far we've decided to ship more substantial improvements instead. I'm with you in that I really like a new version of software to feel new, and a lot of that is visual. But we hear from others who strongly oppose change and want things to stay the same. So we're torn between making some people happy and others upset, and in this case we decided to spend our resources solving problems that we hope everyone will appreciate.

That's not to say we won't do a visual refresh eventually. When we do, though, we'll aim to solve bigger usability problems and not just put on a fresh coat of paint.

Thanks for Phil's reply and [Y] to David's suggestion.

Plus, a new UI means all the training materials (official ones, unofficial wikis, training videos) will have to be re-done. Busy work that adds little value unless, like Phil says, it also solves some longstanding usability issues.
