Zondervan Counterpoints Disappointment - Sort of

This is not a huge thing, but it is a tad bit disappointing to discover.

I purchased the 12 Days of Christmas Counterpoints package and discovered today that the title Four Views on Hell in 20 years old. Which is fine. However, I discovered that a completely updated version with different authors and copyright 2016 is available in Vyrso. One wishes that would have been in the Logos package.

Logos editions ≠ Vyrso editions. Some users would be very unhappy if a Vyrso edition were to be bundled with Logos ones.

Pardon my lack of clarification. Being aware of the separation between Vyrso and Logos, I was suggesting that the volume in question should have been a Logos title and included as part of the collection.

However, it was my greater joy to share with others that the new vol is currently priced at a great bargain.

I understood what you meant Michael. It is disappointing the newer edition of this resource has been put in a low qauility format, subject to potential issues with looking up and searching for bible references and potentially missing out on other useful tagging including page numbering, particularly an issue for those using this resource for a research paper.

Whether this is by choice of Zondervan, FL or just an oversight, really doesn't matter at this point in time. What matters is you have raised a valid point and I hope someone at FL does look at getting the newer edition into Logos format in the future.

As an added bonus you'll find that the Vyrso edition includes the original edition as well [at the back].
