Three straight crashes in Courses Tool

... all I did was open the tool ... it came up blank (empty panel, not even the usual corrupted display in the bottom left). I clicked on the sidebar button ... watched the pizza ... and suddenly no more L7 !!!

The log says if you click on the sidebar button it is Fatal! Stay clear of it until Courses comes up with content or you get a response from Faithlife (it is OK in Windows).
