Recommended sales

I have been very disappointed with sales at Logos for over a year. I love my previous goto guy Brian kent, but now so many sales representatives know very little of the products on sale or your own library to make a suggestion. It seems like they are just interested in selling you something. Can anyone make a good recommendation for a good sales representative.

Maggie Segar is one of the last "old school" sales rep there. She might be able to help.

Yes, when I sent an enquiry to Brian Kent a couple of months ago there was no response. There doesn't seem to be a system where another rep picks up the messages sent to reps who have gone. Would Maggie Segar's email address follow the usual format, i.e. maggie.segar@faithlife.com?

She sent me an email recently after I made some purchases from the Zondervan 12 Days of Logos. It's a little different than what you have. Here you go:

I wish I could. I had one guy who was very knowledgeable about the language software and system requirements. I am thinking of asking the person the next time I call, "How many years have you worked for Logos?" When Logos 4 came out no one gave me a good recommendation on a computer system. Their website recommendation is useless. I ended up with a system that could barely operate Logo. If I find a rep who knows I will let you know.

Ask for Jeremiah Doyle. He knows his stuff and if he does not know right away, he will get you an answer and recommendation.
He is my guy, and I apporve of this message!

Robert,
What types of resources are you looking for?
Cliff
I am looking for someone who knows the product of logos especially what they are selling that month and can look at my library and can say if a given resource would give me something new or would it just be adding to resources I already have. For example, would a given resource be reiterating in another form what I already have or would this add to my library.

I had various phases when I went with a sales rep. However, over the last little while, I mainly purchased things directly from the web. This had two reasons:
1) From the Forum I got the impression that sales reps cannot provide any discounts beyond what is on the web.
2) Sales reps have been hit & miss. Sometimes I would get a response, sometimes I would not. If it got too bad, I contacted Dan who then made sure I got a response.
I am still not sure what to do. Not too long ago, I got an additional discount from a sales rep. I was very grateful for that and regretted that I did not go through a sales rep with some of my recent major purchases. So I thought of again involving a rep more regularly. However, now I am waiting for a response. There are no auto replies if somebody is on vacation, so I have no idea if/when I get a response. I know that there is probably better service over the phone, but this is not easy if you live at the other end of the world with bad internet.
Since I haven't hear from my sales rep, I now contacted Maggie who was recommended here. However, I am now clogging up the system by potentially having two people work on the same request. I hope that FL will get the means to again build up the support team.

Europe seems to be so advanced, yet internet is expensive and bad and the cost of living doesn't seem to match what people make. People can say whatever they want but America is still truly the land of opportunity. 😁 I love ❤️ my fast unlimited internet!

Asia is equally advanced, there is fast internet freely available everywhere, and the cost of living is negligible. That's why we chose to retire to Malaysia. Now we can only be dragged back to Europe for weddings and funerals!
