Steps to repeat using 7.3 SR-1 on Windows 10

  1. Quick Start Layout - Devotional
  2. Close Prayer and Note documents
  3. Add more devotional resources
  4. Link all devotional resources in set A
  5. Customize Quick Start Layout by replacing with current layout
  6. Close All
  7. Wait for Day to change
  8. Open Quick Start Layout - Devotional

Customized layout opens with Bible location changed to first verse reference in highest prioritized Devotional resource. However, Devotional location remains unchanged from layout replacement. Had expected highest prioritized Devotional location to change so would propagate to other devotionals in link set A.

Default Devotional Quick Start Layout changes Devotional location to Today followed by changing Bible location.

    I tried to duplicate this but got a bit confused. Why are you linking the devotionals? Don't they all automatically open to today's date? What am I missing?

    My initial customization did not have them linked, but opening custom Quick Start Layout for Devotional had the date when customization was created. Hence, my next customization attempt was linking them so changing date in one would change date in the others.
