I wanted to be able to search the Yahwist source according to Richard Elliott Friedman's arrangement in his The Hidden Book in the Bible. So I transcribed all the references to paste into Logos as a saved range. Thought I'd share it here in case anyone else might find it useful.

Just copy the following references, paste them into the reference range of the Bible search, click save, and give it whatever name you like. Friedman calls this work, "In the Day."

Genesis 2:4–4:24; 4:26; 5:28–29; 6:1–8; 7:1–5; 7:7; 7:10; 7:12; 7:16–20; 7:22–23; 8:2–3; 8:6; 8:8–13; 8:20–22; 9:18–27; 11:1–9; 12:1–4; 12:6–13:5; 13:7–18; 15:6–12; 15:17–16:2; 16:4–14; 18:1–19:28; 19:30–38; 21:1–2; 21:7; 22:20–24; 24:1–67; 25:8; 25:11; 25:21–26:33; 27:1–45; 28:10–11; 28:13–16; 28:19; 29:1–35; 30:24–43; 31:3; 31:17; 32:4–13; 33:1; 33:3–4; 33:16; 34:1–31; 35:21–22; 37:2–3; 37:5–11; 37:19–20; 37:23; 37:25–27; 37:28; 37:31–35; 38:1–39:23; 42:1–4; 42:6; 42:8–20; 42:26–34; 42:38–43:13; 43:15–45:2; 45:4–28; 46:5; 46:28–47:6; 47:27; 47:29–31; 49:1–27; 50:1–11; 50:14; 50:22; Exodus 1:6; 1:22–2:23; 3:2–5; 3:7–8; 4:19–20; 4:24–26; 5:1–2; 13:21–22; 14:5–6; 14:9–10; 14:13–14; 14:19–21; 14:24–25; 14:27; 14:30–31; 16:4–5; 16:35; 19:10–16; 19:18; 19:20–25; 34:1–28; Numbers 10:29–36; 13:17–20; 13:22–24; 13:27–31; 13:33; 14:1; 14:4; 14:11–25; 14:39–45; 16:1–2; 16:12–14; 16:25; 16:27–34; 20:14–21; 21:1–3; 21:21–35; 25:1–5; Deuteronomy 34:5–7; Joshua 1:1; 1:6; 1:9; 2:1–3:17; 4:14; 5:1–9; 5:13–8:29; 9:1–16; 9:22–26; 10:1–11:23; 13:1–13; Judges 8:30–32; 9:1–16; 9:18–57; 10:8–9; 10:17–11:40; 13:2–15:19; 16:1–31; 17:1–21:25; 1 Samuel 1:1–4:18; 4:19–7:2; 7:5–8:7; 8:9–22; 10:17–12:6; 12:16–20; 12:22–23; 15:1–16:23; 17:1–11; 17:50; 18:6–13; 18:16; 18:20–29; 19:1–24; 25:1–30:6; 30:8–31:1; 31:8–13; 2 Samuel 1:1–2:10; 2:12–7:12; 7:18–21; 7:25–20:23; 1 Kings 1:1–2:2; 2:5–46

Note that while Friedman breaks several of these verses half way, I'm unable to maintain that distinction in a Logos range. So there are a few extra phrases in this selection that he would not consider part of the Yahwist source.

Also, should anyone care to check it against the book, be sure to let me know if you spot a typo.

Thank you, Chuck, for the contribution. And welcome to the forums.

I wrote my own Bible software (not hard), but one of its many features I like (gee), is central verse-classing that can be used in my search algorythms, along with neural analytics.

I include several versions of JEPD (including Friedman), presence of older spellings/syntax, verse-matches, and so forth. And all my text is 'dated' relative to syntax/vocabulary patterns (as also Google these days).

I hope you contribute more, as you go along.

BTW for any that caught the title, and want a broader phrase/word level classing, Andersen-Forbes Phrase-Marker provides a version.
