Why does the same resource have different names in Desktop and Mobile apps?

The "Mission of Preaching" resource is shown differently on desktop

and on iPad

with the iPad picking up a longer title.

This makes it very difficult to use resource-specific highlighting across the different platforms?

Why is this happening and can it be changed?

Not sure whether this is best posted here or in the mobile forums so thought I would start here.

And we have seen another instance of this on another resource in the past as discussed at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/133362.aspx

Both resources are Vyrso resources if that is relevant.

Graham is it possible that you changed the name on the desktop to the shorter name?, hence why it's shorter on the desktop, but on the mobile the full name of the resource is displayed because it does not have access to this shorter 'Custom' name.

Have you checked the resource info for each? What happens if you delete the resource from mobile? As a reminder, the mobile resources aren't automatically updated when downloaded... It could be an issue of needing to update the resource locally. I have seen, however, discrepancies between desktop & mobile resources.

Good suggestion but I rarely change resource titles and haven't done so on this occasion.

I bought the resource on 30 December 2016 and this is how the appeared in my library after purchase.

Have you checked the resource info for each?

They are identical - except the *.logos4 doesn't show on the mobile device but that seems to be standard

What happens if you delete the resource from mobile?

It doesn't make any difference - it appears the same in the mobile library when not downloaded locally to the mobile device.

Please let me know if you notice any other cases like this. We know the cause but are still looking into the cause of the cause.
