Problem with Powerpoint slides being "cut off" after upload

Hi there.

I'm having issues uploading Powerpoint presentations onto Proclaim. It uploads okay but the slides look as though they've been cut in half, with half of each slide blank and cutting of images and/or letters.

Can you please tell me how to fix this without having to screenshot each slide?

Hi, Darren. This is a known issue with PowerPoint imports relating to the third-party transcoding software we use. You can find a full workaround here.

Hi Darren,

We recently shipped an update to the Windows version of Proclaim that uses PowerPoint to do the import rather than the third party solution.

You can opt into this feature but going to Settings > General > PowerPoint and selecting the "Import using PowerPoint" option.

I can affirm that we are looking at equivalent solutions for this on Mac, however I'm afraid we do not have a timeline for when an update would be shipped.

I find that 'Things' on the mac is a good scheduling tool and I understand that it is quite useful for project management. Perhaps this, or something like it, would allow the team to produce a timetable?
