I suggest Logos Bible Software considers adding the read aloud function to the iOS applications.

I appreciate that this might not quite be what you mean, but this is already possible through the accessibility settings and it works like a charm:

it's a really simple gesture that's really hard to trigger accidentally. I use it all the time.
