Opinions on a couple different survey texts

Is there any value in either of these or are there other suggestions
Survey of the New Testament, 5th ed. - Logos Bible Software

The two titles in Zondervan Old and New Testament Introduction (2 vols.) were both required texts for classes I've taken. I found them useful as a student.

I actually own all of the above, and prefer the Zondervan Old and New Testament Introductions. However, they do spoon feed you. How about Jensen's New and Old Testament Surveys, where you have a guide as you do the survey's yourself?

It's filled with charts and maps and diagrams, along with survey questions to engage you in the text. Unfortunately, the logos preview doesn't show the charts, etc., so you have to look at the book on Amazon to see them.

Cynthia,
Thank you for the suggestion. I am looking to these resources as a guide to walk a middle school class through the Bible. They would not use these personally but I would use them. Do you think the Jensen surveys would be more appropriate. Do the Jensen surveys, particularly the Old Testament, trying to point out Christ?
Thanks for your feedback.
