Do I have to uninstall beta version?

I had a beta version on my desktop...but not on my laptop. After receiving the latest update on my laptop, I could not even sign on to my logos 4 on my desk-top. Do I  need to delete the beta version on my desk-top and do a complete new download?  Help!

I think it was the beta version of what they released completed and released today.

For me the RC2 that was released last week is the same as the current 4.0b gold release. So, if you've been keeping up to date with the betas, there should be no change for today.
