Interesting Crash w/4.0b

I just downloaded and indexed the 4.0b et.al. and when I go to load a specific layout, which is rather loaded up with resources, Logos is crashing.

Now the interesting part is this, 5 out of 5 times that I have attempted to load that particular layout, it has crashed and 5 out of 5 times that I have started Logos with the log active, it has loaded and worked. It is like 4.0b KNOWS! I have checked and the program processes are shutting down between starts and the layout worked ok under 4.0a.

Any grand insights?

My first suspicion would be that 4.0b was still building links required for the specific layout.

M.J. may have an answer there, perhaps time is required. However it sounds to me like a familiar problem with Mechanics, the car never acts up in the autoshop, just when I'm driving it. :-)

You might consider rebuilding the layout if you can't come to a solution. Unfortunately, rebuilding it is the only solution I can provide.

My eldest brother was working as a mechanic when his best friend kept bringing in a motorcycle for brake problems. My brother could never duplicate the problem - until he took a test ride and had no problems until he returned to the garage and went through the plate glass window. Memorable, because it was the first time I saw someone with stitches. Luckily, your crashes are not quite so memorable.

I think you get the Cigar. I gave it another shot this morning and it opened with no hang or crunch. Interesting that Logos gave no indication that it was doing anything after it finished indexing. Either way, now its time to play with the new toys....g
