iPhone / IPad app always crashes
Hi, I would love insight into getting this logos app to work again! it used to work fine, but for the past several months it always crashes. My iOs and Logos app are up to date. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling. just no joy.

2. I'm just referring to the Logos bible app here ( though the flashcards app has been glitchy too - !!)

In the iOS settings app there are entries for each (many) apps.
In the Logos app there is a toggle to enable "Start at Homepage".
Can you enable this and see if the app opens successfully?
I am wondering if there were some resources left in a strange state which is preventing it opening properly

Have you tried killing the app and restarting it?

His OP says that he has performed a reinstall.
True, but that isn't the same as killing the app and restarting it (after a fresh install). The app can sometimes lock up after a fresh install / sign in (we haven't tracked down why), but a restart clears up the issue.

Iphone:
1. I set it to start on home page
2. seems to be working so far....
Ipad:
1. I erased the app, reinstalled it, re-registered. same problem - crashes on startup.
2. I set the app to start at home page.
3. I killed the app and restarted it - same problem. It won't start

I didn't have any resources downloaded except NA28
It opened once or twice but now only crashes

I have deleted the app again, reinstalled, signed in, and have not downloaded anything!
I set it to launch at home page.
I have not downloaded anything - kind of scared to!
Any suggestions how to proceed to keep it working? I'd like to download books but I'm wondering if that's where the crashes are coming in.

If Logos recognizes your device, it will automatically try to start downloading resources which were previously downloaded. If you tried to "download all" at some point, for example, it could be trying to do that again causing the crash. Likewise, if you have massive amounts of notes/highlights, that can cause a bottleneck and crash.
How much free space is on your device? What version of iOS are you running?
Have you goofed off with your phone more to see if it is working?
There is a nuclear option, but you shouldn't try it until you exhaust other options. When I was actively beta testing, I would occasionally need to perform a complete reinstall (delete all) of the device.

Is it only the iPad with problems? The "nuclear" option is to wipe your iPad and perform a fresh install. This may or may not be a simple matter. Do you have many other apps installed? User data / photos to worry about?
I was a beta tester for the mobile app and found that I needed to do this from time to time... but that should be rare for non-beta testers.

Please delete the app and install it again, and then use the app without signing in. Does the app still crash?
