End of indexing crashes?
At last the indexing seems to have completed with my full library .... or am I jumping ahead?
To get Logos 4 beta1 working I put about 200 resources in the LDLS path. The indexing didn't crash but I had very few resources.
Then I returned all the resources path back to normal so I could use LDLS 3 as well.
Then with Beta 2 it automatically scanned .... and crashed 5 times. I sent one of the logs.
I then copied all the LDLS 3 resources to the SAME hard disk as the LDLS 3 program files.
I deleted all non resource files (eg license back ups, resource associations, video files ... and a couple of Logos 2 files that had wandered back) from the LDLS resource path.
Started Logos 4 beta 2 .... indexing continued past the usual 3 minute crash point. The Indexing log file is now 5k. and 71% of 432.6 is being downloaded.
This seems normal.

PS The initial install of Logos 4 beta 2 did not put an icon on my desktop.

An update to the last post.
The good news ..... The indexing finished, then started again. Downloads/update happened. Then for nearly 24 hours the library was indexed. L4 is up and going... everything OK .... or is it???
The bad news ..... only about a third of my LDLS 3 resources have managed to make the leap into L4. In the L4 resource folder I not that there are only 1999 LDLS3 resources copied.
So where are all my other resources and why were some chosen and others not?

I'm sure there's a bible reference for that one [:)]
My trials pale beside yours, as what I've been able to do has been accomplished by only 4 - 6 hours indexing for 470 resources (425 real ones) on each of my two machines. Others seem to be suffering with Beta 2, so just hang on!

I gave mine one last try before waiting for a fix. I removed AV1873NT.lbsrvi from Logos 4.0 path as suggested elsewhere and got down to about 193 resources left, then she crashed.
I have included my log files for anyone who can interpret them.
