BL100 Learn to Study the Bible - I really like Dr. Bock.
I will be surveying the various courses available in order to make a pitch to my church to sign up for the full year at the special price.

I didn't plan to do that, but I still want to buy one of the courses I watched to study it in more depth, and wasn't that enthused by another course that had seemed worthwhile.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

The Shema course is GOOD.

I watch about the first 5 sessions of each course I don't own to see if I am interested in any of them. Most of these I let go on prepub. I am grateful to Faithlife for this weekend. Now I can see which ones I really want.

I will be doing that too with some courses too see if I might purchase them in future on a sale. While it would be nice to get everyone I think I might like at prepub time reality is I have to be selective. I'll focus on the ones I'm undecided about. Also want to take a look at as many of the videos I can from courses I don't own that show how to do things in Logos to see what i might learn or be reminded about that I'd forgotten.

I don't think the videos represents the value of the course. I pretty much find the videos to be an overview and not really teaching. 90% of the value is the curated accompanying links.

Bryan Chapell on expository preaching! Excellent content!

I agree with you the courses are much more than just the video. For the video alone I would not pay the prices FL charges, even at prepub or special price. But for now that is all we get to preview and it does still give an overall sense of the course and the decision I might have to make between two courses of interest when I can only afford to purchase one of them.

Yes, I agree. I am browsing a number of courses of interest. I just want to make sure that people don't discount a course because they don't care for some of the video footage. In my experiences, the courses are quite good and I heartily recommend them.

NT202 A Survey of Jewish History and Literature from the Second Temple Period. This is an outstanding course that I recommend you take advantage and review.

Bryan Chapell's videos has prompted me to feel the need to buy his textbook on expository preaching. I will, however, wait for March Madness to, at least, get a 25% off the regular $29.99 price tag. Though I love the videos, the price tag is just too high to get those, so I'll settle for the book and its companion, along with The Hardest Sermons You'll Ever Have To Preach. All of that, hopefully, during MM2017 👍

Ps. There's a sale with dynamic pricing on his "select works" collection: https://www.logos.com/product/41789/select-works-of-bryan-chapell
I just added it to my library 😁

So far I've been watching the Winnipeg Jets against St. Louis Blues. We watched some OHL (Ontario Hockey League) yesterday and going to record the Leafs against Ottawa tonight. Date night tonight with my wife which means a nice glass, or two of white a movie and a BBQ.
Being that as it may, archeaology and Jesus is pretty good.
Not too sure I'd purchase the Mobile ed courses, a bit too pricey for this milkman.
cheers,
mm.

....gasp I forgot to watch anything....heavy sigh. I meant to watch the Moo study on Romans (the last of my 3 classes as I graduate in May from Luther Rice with an Mdiv). Anyone know a conservative church looking for a pastor or associate pastor?

I forgot as well. I'm now watching BI101.
A weekend really is not enough time for this.

Totally agree. Weekends are way to busy to watch...

Be great if Faithlife would do this over the course of a month. Preferably a month with 31 days.

Vishal Mangalwadi - Must the sun set on the west?
I'm finding it quite interesting... I've looked at a lot of the mobile ed. courses.
