Missing Reading Plans on Home Screen
I have a few Reading Plans, but none of them show up on my Home Screen. They did for a day or 2, but then they disappeared after syncing. This happens on both my phone and my tablet. This happens in Bible, Study Bible and Vyrso.
"Today's Reading" is checked in "Edit sections", so they should show up. One plan is just reading the OT in the ESV. The other 2 plans are books in a year.
I have written support a few times, but only got 1 response. The response didn't seem to even be for an Android device. I replied the email, but never got a reply since. (more than a week ago, maybe even 2).
Is anybody else having this problem? Any solution?
Scott

Hi Scott
I have a few Reading Plans, but none of them show up on my Home Screen
Each Reading Plan is based on a Logos Document.
Can you check in the Documents section of the app on your Android so see if those Documents exist (they should have the same name as the Reading Plans)

Hi Graham,
All 3 plans are in the documents section of the Logos Bible app. However, there is no Documents section in Vyrso (or Faithlife Study Bible app), where I usually do my reading.

Hi Scott
Kevin Byford refers to problems with some reading plans on Android - and suggests a way to check whether they should work or not - at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/134415/874397.aspx#874397
Can you follow his suggestion there and let us know how you get on?

Hi Scott,
From the Home page of the Bible app there is a "+" icon in the Reading Plans header. If you tap it followed by the Reading Plans selection do your plans appear?

I followed the test and all mine passed. They should be working.

The problem is that the Reading Plans header no longer exists. Initially I did add them to my home screen using the plus, but now I can only add the plans on the Logos Bible app through the documents button. In all the other apps I just have to get lucky by opening the resource and hoping it is at the reading of that day. Otherwise I have to go searching or go to the Bible app.

This means I can't see any plans of any sort. For instance, there usually is the Spurgeon "Morning and Evening" plan or the Connecting the Testament, but those don't show up either.

Hi Scott,
Please watch the video below, hopefully it will help. The "Today's Readings" section can be turned on/off, so please make sure it's turned on. Second, if a previously created Reading Plan doesn't appear, tap on the "7+" icon to add it back again. Please let me know how it goes.

I have tried many times to turn on and off the Today's Reading within edit sections. This is what I tried to explain in my first post. My problem is that regardless of what is checked in edit sections, I can no longer view ANY reading plans on any of my mobile devices on the home screen.

I have no 7+ symbol because I have no Today's Readings section showing on my home screen.

Hi Scott,
Sorry for the issue. To my knowledge this is the first report of the Reading Plans choice not being available under Edit Sections.
If possible, please attach screenshots of the Edit Sections panel and use Report a Problem (under the Help menu) for each app and device so we can take a look at the app logs.
Afterwards, please select one of your devices and remove all Faithlife apps, then install just the Bible app and Sign In with your account, then let us know if the Edit Sections panel includes the Reading Plans choice. If so, please enable it and let us know if your reading plans appear.

"To my knowledge this is the first report of the Reading Plans choice not being available under Edit Sections."
The above is not the issue. I can check or uncheck the choice in Edit Sections. Nevertheless, on my Home Screen, this changes nothing. I still cannot see ANY plans on the Home Screen. They just won't show up on any apps on both of my devices.
I have reported this problem through the Help section on my app, but they only answered once (to which I replied and received no answer, then wrote again, no answer). I decided to come to the forums, since responses are given. I don't think a screen shot shows anything.

Hi Scott,
Sorry for my confusion; this is why I asked for screenshots to help clarify exactly what the issue is.

I will follow up with our Customer Service team and I have also entered a case.
Please uninstall all Faithlife apps on one of your devices and then perform a fresh install of just the Bible app, then Sign In and let me know if the Reading Plan section appears on the Home Page.

Hi Kevin,
I finally gave in and uninstalled all my apps and then reinstalled them. That did the trick. I just now have to reinstall my resources. That takes time, but at least I can access my reading plans from the home screen.
I guess it was just some kind of a glitch.
Thanks,
Scott
