This is sold as a series "The Way of the Master Evidence Bible" with two resources

  • Bible with “Comfort-able KJV” Text
  • Bible Notes - Notes

The Bible states "Look for bold verse numbers, indicating that the verse has a corresponding comment nearby." and provides Ps 92:13 as an example. There is no comment "nearby", but it is in the Notes; as expected!

Now, look at Ps 94

  • v1 has Notes but the Bible's verse is absent
  • vv7-11 have bold verse nos and bold text, but the Notes have only vv 7-10
  • there is a Note for v12 but the Bible's verse no. is not bold.

Then look at Rev 3, where there appears to be similar discrepancies, but it is difficult for me to know if certain verse nos are bold. Can others comment on this?

When I look at it, verse one does have notes and the Bible verse number is absent.  11 is NOT Bold (hence no note, and 12 IS Bold (hence the note).  I think the issue is that it is very difficult to see if the verses are bold or not when they are surrounded by bold words.

For instance, in Genesis 1, verses 3 and 9 are bold, but it's easy to see that they are because none of the words in the verse are bold.  That's where the main problem is.

My question regarding this resource is...how come it's not linked?  How come I have to have both open at the same time and link them in a link set as opposed to being able to click on the bold verse number and it bringing me to that resource's Bible note?

On the side, I bought one of these Bible years ago when it first came out when Ray Comfort, together with Kirk Cameron, came and spoke at our church (Kirk's sister Candace attended our church and her daughter was in my son's class).  Since then, any time I am going to witness one on one to someone, I bring that Bible with me, because undoubtedly they are going to ask me a question that is in there.  It's a great resource for witnessing, so I was thrilled to see it back in print and updated!

Edited to add:  Verse one of ALL chapters is missing its number and Rev. 3 looks fine, but where you see the bold words, together with bold numbering turned on and off, it's difficult to see.

That's why you paid a lot of money for it, because of the superior tagging Logos offers 😁 Maybe the tagging is just too sophisticated and complex we, as users, have not really figured out how it really works. 🙄 Too bad some are not willing to see that, with some resources, we are really getting taken to the laundry...but hey, it's ok to pay high prices for poorly developed products, which seem to be one too many in recent years. Oh well!   Anyway, you asked for a comment that's mine and it's truthful. I challenge anybody (customer or FL employee) to question it with proofs that what I just stated is wrong 😬 Any comments?

Rev. 3 looks fine, but where you see the bold words, together with bold numbering turned on and off, it's difficult to see.

I just found that coming fresh to the resource makes it relatively easy to see bold/not bold numbers for a short while.

My question regarding this resource is...how come it's not linked?  How come I have to have both open at the same time and link them in a link set as opposed to being able to click on the bold verse number and it bringing me to that resource's Bible note?

The Net Bible Notes are implemented the same way if you have the Net Bible w/out notes, but I have the Net Bible with notes integrated! The print edition of the Evidence Bible has the notes "nearby", but FL decided to put them in a separate resource. Multi-view assists the linking, but I wish they had been integrated.

I won't comment on that, but see my previous post.

Thanks for pointing this out.  This looks like a resource I would like.  But I am holding off because it is not integrated.
