Help? Parallel Resources in 4.0b

I need some help on Parallel Resources. I don't see a video or Wiki entry yet. What I can't figure out is why the Parallel Resource icon does not display in the title bar for a given resource when I first open it (see screenshot below, there's no icon, why not?). Seems like I have to open it as a Parallel Resource, by clicking on plus sign (+) and then selecting a resource and then the icon will appear in the title bar. I hope I am explaining this correctly. Is this the way it is supposed to function?

    No it is not the way it is supposed to work. You should see the parallel resources icon when Logos opens. If Logos is still indexing that might be the reason you are not seeing the icon.

    You need to change the dropdown from page numbers to headwords. You're currently trying to find parallel resources to page 508, you need to make sure Logos knows that's not what you want.

    This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

    Your graphic shows "Page 508" in the window. [Ah, Mark beat me to that one].

    To have the Parallel resource icon show there must be something in the window to "parallel" etc. Page numbers do not count. Try to get a greek or english word into that window and then see if the icon does not appear.

    ie. Compare "apples with apples So Bibles with Bibles; Dictionary-Lexicons;Commentaries etc in their own separate collections

    I am assuming that your Lexicon has been placed into a collection with other Lexicon-Dictionaries?.

    Hope that makes sense.

    When I initially installed the latest update I could not see the parallel resource icon either in any of my windows in my layout. In my case the problem was that the windows in my layout were to narrow. Rearanging my layout slightly made the difference and the icon now appears. Just a thought.
