BUG: Sync does not recover when internet access is restored

I will frequently run L7 on my laptop when it does not have internet access. As I expect, the red exclamation mark shows in the upper right of the main window because sync can't work. In case anyone is wondering, I don't have the internet up to begin with because my wifi is usually my phone, so I'm minimizing data usage. In addition, many times the laptop is waking up from hibernation, so L7 is already running (but there is no internet access).
Most of the time when I'm running this way, at some point I will connect the laptop to wifi to get internet access. L7 never recovers such that sync starts working when I do that. I always have to restart L7 for syncing to start working. Of course, this isn't true of any other apps that depend on internet access (my browsers, OneDrive, OneNote, Dropbox, etc.).
I don't know which step in the process of opening a TCP connection to the FL servers is not re-attempted. But the recovery attempt isn't sufficient to note that the internet is in fact available.
It would be great if FL could fix this. Restarting L7 is time-consuming, especially for the layout that I am most frequently using.
Thanks,
Donnie

This is a known problem (at least for Mac) from which I also suffer. FL stated that they are working on it.

Those issues sound different than mine. I don't have any issues opening layouts. I don't have any CPU utilization issues. The sync indicator doesn't continuously spin. A sync is attempted, fails, and the red exclamation mark appears. Even when internet access has been restored. It's corrected by restarting L7, which is an undesirable workaround.
Anyone from FL?

This is a known issue (that only affects particular sync kinds IIRC); I've added a link to this thread to our internal case that's tracking the problem.

Actually, could you post your Logos.log file so we can verify that the problem on your system is the same one we've diagnosed here?

Yes, you are right. These symptoms sound different than mine.

I have this problem on my tablet too, when it is out of range of known wifi hotspots.

I have experienced this for years. I use Logos on a laptop and often do not have wifi. Eventually the sync shows the exclamation, but when restoring internet, no amount of clicking sync now will cause the sync to work. I have just two or three times seen Logos reestablish the sync automatically, but it has been rare. The only solution I have found is to restart Logos.
