In dead tree format lives of saints type resources are normally accessed by either date or saint's name although there are some exceptions. Faithlife has generally followed the patterns of the dead tree format in this regard but there are some missing indices.
- Shea, John Gilmary. Pictorial Lives of the Saints. New York; Cincinnati; Chicago: Benziger Brothers, 1887. lacks the saint's name access.
- The Book of Saints. London: A & C Black, 1921. lacks the date access
I have not reviewed all such books ... in my sample of 4 books, 2 were fully indexed.
