Visual Filter Is Not Turning On

My visual filter is not turning on. I have followed the instructions and training to check the visual filter box but none of the biblical text that I am studying highlights my given parameters. Any suggestions and/or help with this?.

    I'm afraid we probably don't have enough info to go on. Can you provide links to the training you are referencing? Can you provide screenshots?
