Corrupted file

I cannot open Logos 4 and am getting message of a corrupted file (C:\Documents and Settings\..........\ Logos 4\Data\......\Library catalog\catalog.db-journal). I have located file and tried to delete it but am unable to do so - receiving message cannot delete because it is corrupt and unreadable. Any ideas as to how to solve? (This is on my desktop PC - also running Logos 4 on Macbook under Parallels with no problem).

Just to be certain Andrew, Is Logos closed when you try to delete?

That said, I suggest a CHKDSK /F
