The interface is not typical of the windows ui, and this is somewhat non-intuitive if you are a windows user. I am still trying to figure out how to change the lectionary that is displayed at the top to RCL? And I would have assumed that the ribbon bar that is found now at the top of most Microsoft apps, and now is appearing on other applications as well (Paperport 12 now sports the ribbon bar) would have been the major ui change.

Not all of my resources are showing up in the library, but I can not for the life of me figure out how to add resources, if they even can be added? In short, there are some nice features (the library display is a welcomed change) but then there are others that seem to try to be too much like the web and not really helpful in that if I want to read blogs I go to the blog on the website. I think that this view should be a tabbed option rather than the primary view. In my mind the "home page" should display the library, and have easy access to things like passage guides and the like. I think the present design detracts from the core purpose behind LOGOS. Perhaps a tabbed interface, where you can click on tabs to see "desktops" ala Google Chrome would be a better design choice, so that I can view the home page I want with widgets and objects that encapulate Logos functions and features. If I want to read Logos and Libronix news I can click the news tab and there it is.

Just my two cents worth,

peace,

    David,

On the homepage, select "customize homepage" at the bottom. You can set logos so that it does not open to the home page, but rather to a standard blank layout. I know that doesn't address all your concerns, but it may be a start!

As for changing the lectionary, this requires prioritizing the lectionary you'd prefer. Open My Library, type in the name of the lectionary you'd like, click "prioritize" on the right side of My Library, and then drag the lectionary to the list. Once in the list (assuming you are running beta 2) the prefereed lectionary will change immediately. Prioritizing is replacing keylinking from V3 and is still a work in progress. You can find some good discussions of how it works and what is still needed on the forums.
