Table of contents for Notes is still missing in L4 (4.0b - not the
beta).
I have some pretty big Notes files - (each with several
sections or chapters) - that I have imported from L3.
In L3 you had a table
of contents on the left hand side so you could easily jump to
any "section" or "chapter" in that Note file. It was quick and easy to get around in your notes.
But after importing
them to L4 I see that I do not have a table of contents to be able to do
that. Instead, I have to scroll through all of my notes to be able to find each "section" or "chapter".
This doesn't work for
me at all. It's way too time consuming to have to scroll through them all.
I
need to be able to jump right to the section or chapter I want, without
having to scroll through scads of note sections.
This doesn't only help you to easily navigate your notes - it also helps you to easily see, at a glance, what sections you have in your note file.

add a table of contents to the Notes feature in L4.
