The Writings and Sermons of Jonathan Edwards (10 vols.) is currently at an interesting price on CP.

It is interesting, but will take a lot more people to sign up to make up the missing 20% for the $36 price than it will for the 10% required to hit the $60 price.
e.g. if the total cost of production was $1000, either 10 people @ $100 each or 100 people @ $10 each would meet the funding requirement. Now lets say we are at 90% on the $100 price point, that would mean 9 out of the 10 required have signed up and will to pay up to $100 and only one more is required to sign up and commit to paying up to $100. At the same time we 80% of the required number of people prepared to pay up to $10 have signed up, that is 80 out of the 100 required and so another 20 people have to put up their hand and say they are will to pay up to $10.
Note the number of people who have said they are willing to pay up to $100 are included in the number of people willing to pay up to $10.and would be those people who have said they are willing to pay up to $50, so people dropping their bid to $10 would not change the fact another 20 individuals still need to sign up and be willing to pay up to $10. On the other hand if one person who was willing to pay $90 increased their bid and said they were willing to pay $100, the funding target would be reached and and the project would proceed at $100 per person.

Maybe they got the following as part of Reformed Diamond or higher base packaged and feel they have enough Edwards for now / or are planning on upgrading to one of these base packages.

The question is what is in this CP title that makes it unique to what people might already have in the above.
From a price point of view, I hope this collection does get over the line at the lower prices so for those that can not afford the more expensive package above and want more Edwards can purchase it at a more affordable price.

Certainly interesting not only from a Calvinist perspective. Maybe especially interesting from a non Calvinist perspective, as I don't any respective base package, and only own one single resource by Edwards.

I'm not sure how this works, but it looks like if everyone who is in at $36 would bump up to $39 or $42, it would drop down to that price. How does the math work on this?

Everyone in at $42 is in the numbers showing for $39 and for $36 so I think it would require a lot more than that to shift the numbers Dale.

I think it could easily get to $36. I'm on the fence if I want this resource for $36, but that's the lowest possible bid right now.

It works the other way around. If everyone who is in at $60 lowers their bid to $36, then that's gonna be the price.
The danger is of course, that not enough people do that, it'd remain at $60, and whoever lowers their bid is gonna miss the deal.

Which is great for those who can afford that particular base package..there are those hoping this gets across the line for at $36 or lower for those who can't afford a base package at that price.

Bump - this a useful expansion (w/ some overlap) of the basic Banner of Truth Selected Works edition And agreed, Jacob - good for those unable to pay for the BP. $51-ish seems reachable.
