Do I need to upgrade to Logos 7 Basic if I have Logos Now?

Hallo,

I am a Logos member (Logos Now). So I have all the features of Logos 7. But I own Logos 6. Is it wise to upgrade to Logos 7 basic for free, just in case I for some bizar reason I would cancell my annual membership? And if I upgrade, would it effect my current features that I can use because of my membership?

Bram, you own a Logos 6 base package (resources), but you also 'own' Logos 7 software (it's free and comes in NOW, a Logos 7 base package, or Logos 7 Basic). So you can't actually 'upgrade'. You should be running Logos 7 already. Logos Basic will have no effect on this.

If you cancel Now you will lose the data sets and other features on the Logos Now page. You could purchase them as part of a Logos 7 Feature set or a Logos 7 base package.

You may get one or two resources that you don't currently have by 'buying' Logos Basic. These are on loan. You won't permanently own them.

I doubt you need to 'purchase' Logos Basic as insurance, but if it makes you feel more secure, go right ahead. There will be no harm.

You will not lose anything by doing so, and as you say if you now, at least you have access to v7
