Do the highlights & notes on the iPad app sync w/ the iPhone app?

As long as one is signed in with the same account, highlights and notes should sync across all supported platforms including iPhones, iPads, Android devices and the Logos/Verbum desktop apps.

My highlights & notes aren't syncing. Same a/c signed in on the two apps. Might it be the difference in versions? One is a ver 4 while the other's a ver 5 app.

Any particular reason why both of them aren't running the latest version - 5.12.3?
I assume any 4.x builds are no longer supported. Is your device very old and unable to update to a 5.x build?
Hey Victor! Thanks for the update on your situation. As other have stated, version 4.6.2 of the app is quite old, it also appears to be running on iOS 7 which is also decidedly old. You'll want to look into getting that device and the app updated ASAP. I've reviewed your documents at https://documents.logos.com/ and I do see quite a few new ones, so it looks like the ones you're creating are syncing correctly to our servers, so it would hold true the older software would be the last hurdle.
