Searching on

Hello all,
I have been tasked in my church to bring a teaching about something not so common. It's a group of small groups leaders that I am to teach and was told to teach something along the lines of loyalty to God and ministry than to friends and family.
At this point I'm thinking of going to Google for resources on this strange theme but would really like to stick with Logos with resources I can trust. But I have no idea how I can search the Bible and my resources for something that I'm a bit unclear myself. Google makes this a bit easier, but how can I accomplish this searches on Logos?
Thanks much,
Manny

Hi Manny
Some ideas:
- check if you have anything in your library written specifically about small groups (left of screenshot)
- look at the Topic Guide on loyalty (centre) and see if that helps
- do a search for the word "loyal" near either God or ministry (right of screenshot)
Hope this helps get you started

Hi Graham,
Thanks much for those ideas. I will certainly use them and that'll definitely give me a good start. Thanks again.

Modifying search to Heading Text, Large Text finds many articles:
(loyal NEAR (God,Jesus, ministry)) OR (small NEAR group)

I see what this search syntax is doing. This helps me understand how to do better searching in Logos. I appreciate your help once again. [:D]

A topic about God's faithfulness is pretty good to be discussed.
ex: What does it mean by "God is the same yesterday today & tomorrow"? or they can share their testimonies on God's faithfulness (if they're long time believers)
Something like that for a starter from me..
