Prayer list behavior

Has anyone else noticed that the prayer list doesn't act correctly sometimes? Some prayer list items disappear after I check them off and some prayers stay on the list. At first I thought this was related to whether it was a daily or weekly prayer, but there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why some remain after checking them off and others don't. Wondering if anybody else has experience this or if there's something I am missing?

Just to clarify: you said it does not matter whether it is daily or weekly (and it shouldn't) but is it a matter of whether the prayer request is set to be recurrent "repeat on" (however often) as opposed to not. I would expect the latter to disappear and the former to stay on.
