SUGG: we need better organization for notes, clipping, etc. files

I create a note file for every book of the Bible that i am studying.  I also have just a few clipping files.  All in total maybe under 40, but even with this relatively small amount I um struggling to find needed files.

I would like to suggest categorizing user documents by type first, then arrange them alphabetically. Also, could we collapse the type (just like in Explorer) so we can only see word search puzzle files, for example :)

Also, for right-click adding to notes or clippings, is there a way to implement a "drop-down" structure, similar to L3: Add a note to:NOTES>list of my note files.  Because again, if there are several note files or clippings open, there are not currently organized well and lead to clutter.

Posts like this always catch my attention.  I just have to tell myself that they aren't written to me personally, even though my last name is, in fact, "Sugg".

Seriously, though, this would be an important feature to me as well.  I just assumed that Logos would take this into account, especially after the L3 import feature came about.  Is this on the radar?

Something like this has been suggested before. I agree that the more "lived in" Logos gets the more cluttered the files area can become. Hopefully, Logos will introduce some more organization here.

For now, if  you type "notes" (no quote marks) into the find box it will limit the list to just notes etc. Also, be certain to have an intentional logic to the way you name documents, it'll help you find them later.

Thanks Kevin - it sounds silly but I hadn't even noticed the Find box [:$]
