Hey guys I have made several "note" documents but have recently started using "Clipping" documents.
Do you know if there is a way to convert an existing "notes" document to a new "Clipping" document?
Thanks for your help

Unfortunately the answer is the only way to do it is manually by recreating the note as a clipping. The software does not convert notes into clippings.

Manual copy and paste is all there is. It would be difficult to automate as each annotation could be a clipping document vs. each annotation being a 'clip' for a single clipping document. If a number of annotations could be the basis for a clipping document, how would you treat the individual references and the notes (the Content)? How would you treat Highlighting and Labels?
Thank you for your response
Thank you for your response, I was sure it would be difficult if not at all possible! But then I thought "Hey, it's Logos, they can do all kinds of magic" [:D]
Hi, what about the other way round? converting clippings into notes? Same issue?
Yes. Do it yourself!
FWIW Faithlife have been talking about a new version of notes etc. here on the Forums. They have not started to appear in the Beta test yet, so I do not know when they will appear live ... but it might not be worth too much of an investment in time moving between the two different systems; or even time spent rationalising existing note files into larger/smaller documents etc.
It would very much depend on the mount of material that you want to move.
It would be good to hear from FL about their time scales and plans again ... [:)]
