I "bought" Logos 7 Basic, which is supposed to install itself when one simply opens the old version one has (Logos 6, in my case). I have Windows 7. I opened Logos 6, it seemed to do some downloading but it takes a long time, so I went a way and did other things in the meantime. When I came back, the program had crashed. I cannot open it anymore. When I click on it, it gives me the welcome screen still from Logos 6, signs in, shows the little screen where it tells me it is downloading and updating, but invariably crashes after a while before opening properly. How to make it work? Log file logos.log attached.
Unfortunately the log is incomplete. Please try again and immediately upload the compressed Logos Log Files folder (right click and Send to.. compressed (zipped) folder).

You should be able to update your installation to Logos 7, using the download files at the bottom of the product page: https://www.logos.com/product/136022/basic
Doing the update manually might save you the hassle of debugging this crash. If not, please upload a new set of logs as Dave requested.

Hello Andrea,
Thank you very much for reporting this problem, just like Dave here said, the log file is incomplete. If you'd like further assistance over this matter you're welcome to contact us at our support line: 800-8750-6467 and ask for Technical Support.
Thank you. I tried again. Today it is not even getting as far as the login screen, but crashes beforehand. Log files attached. The manual download method from the site you indicated does not work either. I get a consistent Error 404 message when I try to download it (and its a downloader file only anyway, not the "real" thing - still, it is true, it would very likely be easier to do it manually if I could)
Andrea
By the way, my posts to the forum crash consistently, too. Just now, when I replied to your post from yesterday and attached the new log files, I got this screen and message:
Either the site is offline or an unhandled error occurred. We apologize and have logged the error. Please try your request again or if you know who your site administrator is let them know too.
