Help on
KoehlerBaumgartner on Numbers 22:1 the word plain.
I once read
a reference that David bying his site on the threshing floor (1 Chr. 21:21 and
2 Chr. 3:1). That this could have also meant the whole area including the
templemount.
It solves
the problem between 2 Samuel 24:24 and 1 Chronicles. In the first text David
buying just the threshing floor for 50 shekels silver and in 1 chronicles 21:25
he bought the whole plain for 600 shekels of Gold.
The
reference I am looking for is on Numbers where the word plain is also uses in a
broader sense according to KB s.v.4. But in Hebrew there are 2 different words
(H6160 and H4725).
Who knows
the explanation or the right reference! Thanks
