Suggestion: Put hidden buttons on a dropdown

Now we have an extra button on bibles (the parallel resource sets button), I'm finding that not all my buttons fit on some of my windows. It means I can't turn the interlinear on/off without resizing my panes.

It's common in other applications (Office, Internet Explorer) to add a little arrow when buttons can't fit on the toolbar. Click the arrow displays a popup with all the missing buttons. We need something similar in Logos.

(Failing that, at least auto-resize the reference entry box to allow the buttons to fit.)

This has been brought up many times before. It's even worse in 2.0c-beta1 where he have that huge Display button next to the Huge Interlinear button, plus the parallel sets button and all the other buttons we already know and love.

I agree with Mark's suggestion.

However, on this particular screen, since "Display" and "Interlinear" both deal with interlinear display, shouldn't they be combined into one button/dropdown?

Bump. This is still an issue. In some contexts, we get the little arrow buttons (see attached snip). While better than nothing, these aren't optimal either See in the attached picture where it overlaps the close tab button. Even with a mouse, I find it difficult to click on it without accidently hitting the close button, let alone using a touch screen.

What would be preferable is a full sized button that brings up a drop down menu of the elided choices. Please please please please please.

(Note the scrolling arrow buttons pointed to from above and the elided buttons between the circled buttons pointed to from below.)

It seems the current solution is a stop gap that was just duct taped onto the application.

The left red arrow is on Jeffrey's clipping points to a problem that I am amazed that it was given the OK by the test group. It seems that it is a mystery click area. This is really an unusable solution here and should have a drop down.

The middle red arrow on Jeffrey's clipping. IE degrades nicely where there are too many tabs. It adds a new tab on the right (and left) that are just scroll arrows. This would be a much better solution that what is shown here.

The rightmost red arrow on Jeffrey's clipping. I would prefer that the problem shown here be solved by a drop down as well.
