Sermon Doc: add a sentence to 'handout'

I am using the Sermon Document quite a bit for creating teaching lessons and subsequent handouts. However, I have noticed that if I want to add just a sentence from a paragraph to the handout, it automatically adds the entire paragraph. I then have to download it to a Word Doc and spend more time deleting what i don't need/want.

Am I doing something incorrectly or is there a way around this?

No - you're not doing anything wrong. This is the way it currently works.

I was thinking about this the other day and agree it would be good to have the option to select part of a paragraph. My guess is that this would require quite a change "behind the scenes" though.
