Is there a way to restrict resources in a collection to a range of publication dates? For example, I might want to limit the collection to books published since 1980.

Yes - use the "pubdate" filter

This method works provided the data is correct.

Thanks. I could not figure out how to enter the 2 word field Publication Date. The abbreviation to pubdate solves the problem.
Yes, the publication date listed in Logos books continues to be a problem for many older books. For reprinted older books, both the original publication date and the reprint date are important. The date when the book was converted to a Logos digital edition is less important that the date of the original printed book from the standpoint of how up to date the information is.
I would love to have the date field contain the date of the original book, not the date a digital edition was created. There could be a digital conversion date, which might be changed every time there is an update or correction to the digital edition (perhaps the "Last Update" field serves this purpose).
It is confusing to have the Matthew Henry commentary listed as a 1994 commentary, when the author died in 1714. The introduction to the commentary lists 1706 as the date. Another example is Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown. Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible, which has 1871 on the title page, but the Publication Date in Logos is listed as 1997.
Students regularly find it frustrating when they use a book that they think is a modern book and they find it was published in the 18th or 19th century.
