Bible Read Sound is NOT dramatized. Needs improvement.

My wife and I have the Logos Bible Study read to us by the included voice. However, that voice is really too simplified.

I just listened to the new NowBible portable device and their voices are DRAMATIZED with a variety of actors and sound effects being used.

Logos should have a DRAMATIZED voice reading as well.

Why? What does that give you over buying CDs that already do that?

The automated text-to-speech can read any book, whereas recorded speech is only for a specific text.

I would love to hear dramatized reading! I like that in my Bibles, too. But those are resources where much time and money was spent making those. The nice feature about the Logos "read out loud" program is that the Logos program is designed to read virtually any book in your whole library--all without paying a penny more. Many of your books will likely not be even available as "audio books" for purchase. No matter, with Logos you CAN listen to them! [Y] [:)]

Logos uses the system voice on your computer, you can change the voice by changing the windows prefered voice. But I think dramatised voice is beyond what Logos want to do, unless they bring in a third party, but, that would cost like any other resource

I'd be willing to pay extra for a dramatized voice for some of the Bibles like NIV and KJV. I don't believe Logos would have to create those files. I am sure NowBible would be willing to lease or sell them to Logos if the price was right. Remenber they are probably just MP3 files already and linked to certain bibles.

Logos could even sell us those MP3 files as they do other resources.
