There are all kinds of acronyms you encounter in Bible Study. Some are easy (KJV, OT, NT), others are well known to specialists (JBL, BDB), still others are defined in the Abbreviation lists that appear at the front of some reference books. Sometimes you can find them on acronymfinder.com or abbreviations.com
But others throw even seasoned students of the Bible for a loop. Someone asked recently on the Forum, "What does JBF stand for?" -- I didn't know. A Google search eventually told me it stood for justification by faith.
For all the standard ones and ones that appear in the Abbreviations lists in the fronts of books, these should all be collected into a single place so that users can type "Lookup JBL" and find an answer to what it stands for, even if it doesn't appear in a dictionary in their library.
