Hyperlinking to Non-Logos Files in Logos Notes

I've searched high and low in both the forums and the wiki to find an answer, but I haven't had any luck. I'm using 4.0c Beta1. Is is possible to insert into an existing Logos note a hyperlink to a MS Word or PDF file?
Thanks!

works in 4.0b
in your note
a) type a word
b) highlight that word
c) in the hyperlink box paste the full pathname
(e.g. C:\Users\sclark\Documents\Bible docs\Confidence in Scripture.doc)
d) you may need a space or a linefeed after the link in the note.
when i hold the mouse over the text in the note, it changes color (showing its a link). And when i hold down the Ctrl key and click, it opens word to this doc.

Steve,
That works perfectly, thanks so much! By the way, what's the deal with having to hold down CTRL to make it work?
Thanks!

I've seen other softwares do this, including word processors (Openoffice.org incl.)Jeff Loven said:By the way, what's the deal with having to hold down CTRL to make it work?
The idea is that they are making sure you actually want to leave the program. That is, typically this is reserved for following external links, but some programs like Logos want that internally as well.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

I think the CTL key differentiates between selecting the text to edit it, and clicking on the link to follow it... Acrobat Pro, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint all do this... I would guess it's a built in behavior from the underlying text edit control Logos is using, rather than something they intentionally built into the code.

The previous posts are correct. I did a little search and found that using the control key with another key or click....provides the ability to start another process not just a simple key stroke or click.
