It seems ctrl F is reeeeaaaalllly slow in 4.0c beta 1. I could be wrong, but I use clippings fairly regularly and haven't noticed (or remembered) this level of slowness. I thought I might have been maxing RAM, so I closed down Firefox and MindManager. That did not improve things (I only had L4 and Word open at that point.
It takes many seconds before my letters appear, or are deleted in the Find box. L4 goes into "not responding" mode. Eventually things work, but it is excruciatingly slow. Especially when I am ramping up to finish this mornings sermon. [:$]
Anybody else notice this problem? Does it seem"new" to you also?
