Tim,
I am not sure exactly what you are asking.
1. If you can read Greek, in an Greek NT at Acts 2:23 rest cursor over the word. Without doing anything else the information line pops open at bottom of screen, showing among other things, the lemma (stem) involved.
2. Double click on word and you chosen lexicon opens at the lemma. If you are not too good at Greek chosen New Strongs Dictionary as your top priority Greek dictionary. This resource is chosen in top right hand corner of Library screen.
3. In Greek NT resource right click on word. The root (stem/lemma) is listed in the right column.
4. If your Greek is not 100% use an Interlinear NT and make sure "Lemma" is ticked.
Ask a follow up question if these 4 suggestions don't do for you what you want.

Right click on προγνώσει in The Greek New Testament: SBL Edition (SBL) shows root and lemma (dictionary form of stem + ending)
The root of προγνώσει is γινωσκω (to know)
The lemma of προγνώσει is πρόγνωσις (prognosis, knowledge) so third declension stem is προγνώσ and the ending is ει for dative, singular, feminine.
Lexicon entry for lemma πρόγνωσις shows genitive singular change -εως so genitive singular, feminine spelling is πρόγνωσεως
The lemma πρόγνωσις has a prepositional prefix πρό (fore, before)
Searching Greek Grammars for γνωσις found many results, which included Basics of Biblical Greek (3 vols.) by William D. Mounce that has declination example:
