BUG: Bible Navigation Error
This is a follow up post to my in app "report a problem" submission.
Tonight I had a reproducible issue trying to navigate to a particular passage. The Bible opened with the preceding verse at the BOTTOM of the page, while the passage I had selected was at the top of the next. I was in single column, paged mode.
I was using the Logos app (5.12.3) on my iPad Pro running iOS 10.2.1
In the following screenshots I show 1) the location of the bible before I started the navigation, 2) the method of navigation and 3) the result. Notice that I selected [Ro] [12] then [17], yet the page that loads shows verse 16 at the bottom of the page. Verse 17 has to be swiped to on the next page. FWIW, verse 16 is continued on the next page as well.

Hi alabama24,
Thanks for the excellent steps to reproduce the behavior. Can you take a screenshot with your view settings (the Aa button) displayed? I haven't been able to reach the conclusions you are as of yet.
Thanks!

Sure, see below. FWIW - When I said "reproducible" (and it is for me!), I mean that I can reproduce the exact behavior over and over again with the same circumstances in toto. Mark 5:1 was at the TOP of the first page when I began the navigation. If I move to a different page and try to come back, it may not misbehave. I have noticed other oddities in navigation before, but this one was particularly egregious. IMO, the reference being requested should always be at the top of the page when it loads after navigating. I understand the desire to show a bit of context (which is fine with me), but the beginning of the verse should be no lower than, say, the fourth line.

I'm still not able to replicate the behavior. Can you switch Notes to Off? That's the only difference between your settings and mine. If you're able to replicate the behavior still post your logs and I'll report it to development. Your description and the logs may give them a clue why it is happening.

I almost forgot, what "Bible Text Only" settings do you have enabled? Can you post a screenshot of that?

Hey alabama24! Looks like the Bible Text Only settings did it. I'm seeing the same cut off you are. Interestingly, if I swipe forward to see verse 17, then swipe back, at least on our end verse 17 correctly shows at the bottom of the page. We'll get a case written up.
Thank you so much again for the excellent report and reproduction steps.0
