Complete Works of Francis Shaeffer will not work in offline mode

I have re-downloaded the book several times, I have even deleted the Logos app and reinstalled it on my iTouch. I still get an error in the first chapter of the first book, that says it cannot load the book. If I could get some help I would appreciate it. I have wanted to read it offline.
