Morph Search Help

I want to find all of the places that ἀνήρ is used with a genitive noun (to see if it ever means anything other than husband in that context). I had never really played with the Morph search before, but this seemed like a good time. The results I am getting do not make any sense to me, and I would appreciate some help.

EDIT: your results are due to the recently updated SBLGNT. I get expected results with the previous version (in Logos 7.4). Faithlife are aware of this bug.

Try this when SBLGNT is an option along with LHB:-

Specifying SBLGNT provides clearer options.

Search Span of 1 Verse restricts the match to a single verse (like Bible Search)

Span 3 Words is a Proximity constraint under + Add relation; similar to a text search.

For that search, just now, I ran a Morph search for

)lemma:ἀνήρ) BEFORE 1 WORD <LogosMorphGr ~ NG???>

I typo-ed on the closed parenthesis on the first part, but it wouldn't yield any results with an open parenthesis when I fixed it, so I left it. Sometimes Logos works in mysterious ways. :P

Parentheses are not needed, and you get the correct 2 results with lemma:ἀνήρ BEFORE 1 WORD <LogosMorphGr ~ NG???>

Sometimes Logos works in mysterious ways. :P

The effect of )lemma:ἀνήρ) on BEFORE 1 WORD is unexpected!
