For some reason my ESV Bible shows up as an interlinear. How do I revert this back simply the passages?

Welcome to the forums Terese. You can turn on and off the interlinear as seen below.

I <think> the issue you are experiencing is that you have turned on the "inline interlinear" feature. Click the icon to the right of the three circles (sorry, I don't know how to describe the icon!) and deselect the "inline" feature. If that doesn't fix it, we might need screen shots.
Also, what version are you using? I assume this is on desktop?
