Footnotes with links in Notes?

Is there a way to quickly attach footnotes (via hyperlink) to a NOTE? For example, if I copied some info into a note from another resource, is Logos capable of attaching link from the quote to the citation? Currently, I must add the footnote number in the text and click SUPERSCRIPT, making sure it matches what I have put below. If I were to move the cited sentence then I might have footnote #2 in front of #1 - then meaning I must change both the footnote & citation. Any insights on how I can save some time on this?

I don't fully understand your question, but I don't think footnotes (per se) are supported in notes.

I'm a little unclear if you are trying to attach the note within Logos or if you mean a footnote within a Word Processor. When you copy/paste from a resource into a note attached to something in another resource it should include a citation with a hyperlink to the location within the resource from which it came. Please look at the screenshots below and let me know if this is or is not working for you?

Select and copy the text you want in your note.

In the resource where you want the note, select the text you want to attach it to. Right click and choose the desired Notes Document (it needs to already be open).

Paste the quote you copied into the notes text box (not the note title).

Your note should include a link to where it came from. Depending on your OS you'll need to ⌘/CTRL+Click to open the original resource.

If you are trying to do this in a Footnote within a Word Processor (this will work in Word) you should just need to go to Tools > Program Settings > Hyperlink Copied Citations and set it to yes.

On Word for Mac there is a need to enable the footnotes to be made automatically, you can find instructions here: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/133854/869810.aspx#869810

We do not support automatic footnotes in iWorks Pages due to changes made by Apple.

Thanks. I'm very familiar with that process. What I'd like to do (inside of Logos Notes) is be able to insert a footnote and link it to the cited work below. Instead, I paste (as you did), keep the text I want to use, attach a number at the end of text, and superscript the number.

Then I make another superscripted number at the bottom of document and paste the blue linked reference. If I move the first footnoted reference below the second (as I'm editing), then I must change the numbers in 4 places (change both numbers in the text & both numbers in cited sources). In short, I would love an "insert footnote" option as is available in most word processors. If I then move a footnote above or below another, the numbers would change automatically.
