Logos and Microsoft Word for Mac

I just got Microsoft Word 15.32 (they give it to you for free if you have a student email address. Who knew?). When I copy a citation from Logos and paste it into Microsoft Word, it does not create a footnote automatically. Shouldn't it do this? Are there any particular settings I need to have turned on?

The text I'm copying is out of Colin Hemer's Letters to the Seven Churches of Asia in Their Local Setting. I've also tried copying from Words of Delight and from The Pilgrim's Progress. No love. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

I pasted a quote from a Hemer's Acts in the Setting of Hellenistic History, and another from the 2006 Pilgrims Progress from Logos. The footnotes appeared automatically, as they usually do for me.

In your Logos "preferences/program settings" do you have Copy Citations set to "yes?" Here's a look at my settings, in case it helps:

That's the version I'm using. I didn't say it was a current email, just one I still have access to from my college days. [;)]

Yes. Those settings are all correct. And when I paste in Logos, or notes, or Safari, or anywhere else besides Pages and Word, it footnotes correctly. I had to go through the workaround process of getting this Macro enabled at the forum listed here: [View:https://community.logos.com/forums/t/133854.aspx:550:0]

Hey Andrew! You want to ensure when pasting text from Logos that should have a citation, that it's being pasted using the "Keep Source Formatting" rule. This is usually an option when right-click pasting into the Word document, but your default can be adjusted within Word's settings, under Advanced.

I had to install the macro referenced on the thread I previously cited, but since I did, I can hit ⌘+V and pasting creates the footnote as advertised:

I just thought this was supposed to be a default behavior. It's working just fine after those modifications though.
