Create a hyperlink for use in a note
On occasion I find that I need to reference a commentary entry in a note that I am attaching to a reference. My practice in the past has been to simply cite the commentary in the note. However, it would be nice if that citation was also hyperlinked so that I could go directly from the note to the reference. I don't know how to do that. Any ideas?

Sorry - this can't be done in the mobile apps

So, can it be done in Logos 7 on my PC?

Yes - but when I did this and then accessed the synced note on my iPad, the citation was there but clicking on it took me to the beginning of the resource as opposed to the correct place. I haven't had the chance to look into this any further.

I'll give it a try, although it is likely on my tablet that I'll want to use it the most.
Thanks for your help.

I should point out though that you can create a clipping. Do you ever use those on your tablet? I use them all the time!
Highlight the text you want to save and hyperlink back to, tap "clipping", type whatever notes you want, select the clipping document you want or choose a new one, and tap done. Then you can come back to that resource again with a hyperlink automatically created in your clipping document.

Thanks, Andrew. I've tried the clipping feature, but I guess I didn't really understand how they work. I gave up on them because they didn't grab the reference along with the clip. Had no idea they created a hyperlink. Will experiment with them some more.

No problem John. The link that is created on Mobile is in the top-left hand of the clipping on mobile as highlighted in the image below:
