Citing Logos in PowerPoint

If I am putting together a PowerPoint presentation that will be distributed to other people, some of whom have Logos, what is the preferred setting for creating citation links under "Copy location as"? I have been using "wiki," which creates a link that opens the default web browser and then redirects to Logos. Is there a better option I should be using?

On a somewhat unrelated note, it is frustrating that even though we now have the ability to have links automatically embedded in citations, PowerPoint does not appear to allow those links to be directly opened from the "notes" section of a slide. It seems like the only way I can get the citation links to open is to temporarily copy or move them from the notes section of the slide to the slide itself. Has anyone found a workaround for this? I am using PowerPoint 2010, which is not exactly current. Thanks.

I never use "powerpoint," but have you tried the URL option? It would seem that if hyperlinks are allowed, this would be the option to try.

Thanks for the suggestion. No, I had not tried it because when I move my mouse over that options, the pop-up text says, “A link formatted for email or the web. Requires an Internet connection to open Logos Bible Software from other applications.” I wanted an option that would not require an Internet connection to work.

I have played around with some things since posting my original question, and now I am even more confused because ALL options seem to require an Internet connection for the links to work, including "L4," which describes itself as, "A link that opens Logos Bible Software directly, without requiring an Internet connection. May not work in some applications." I cited text in Microsoft Word using all five options. They all work fine when my Internet is plugged in, but none of them worked when I unplugged the Internet. When Internet was connected, all of them seemed to rely on opening a tab in my browser that redirected to Logos. This being the case, I now have absolutely no idea which option I should be using or why.
