I'm trying to create a Word List document for the vocabulary in Rocine's "Learning Biblical Hebrew: A New Approach Using Discourse Analysis." I was able to get the words for Lesson 1 into the Word List by "adding from selected text," and then sorting by "Card Front" and deleting all the lines that weren't Hebrew words.
But now I need to manually add each gloss. After I enter my text in the "Gloss" column, when I click to the next item, Logos freezes for 20 seconds or so, goes into "Not Responding" mode with the red X box, and then eventually gets back to work.
I unchecked all the column headers that I'm not using, but that didn't make any difference.
I saw a forum post where someone got better speed when they opened the Word List as a floating panel. But this doesn't seem to help me.
I checked the Faithlife group Word Lists for Flashcards, didn't find the Rocine book in their files.
Any suggestions? I think I could handwrite index cards at least twice as fast as creating this Word List document.
